Dior showcases ss19 men’s wear in Tokyo

Hypermodern reality of Japanese culture,

Was all the focus when Dior showcased their men’s wear collection for the first time in Tokyo, Japan.

The show was a marvel  to look at with a great centerpiece robot in focus, created by the well known Sorayama.

A grand tribute to Christian Dior’s love and fascination for Japanese culture. He was enthralled by the country and deep culture, utilising his discoveries that inspired various works.

The new menswear collection mirrors the high-tech, futurist vision set out by Sorayama’s center piece.

Models wore garments printed with Sorayama’s illustrations, metallic blazers, steel caps created by milliner Stephen Jones, and jewellery resembling robotic nuts and bolts.

The show displayed a rich story and collection that came together as a beautiful work of art. One of our favourites that stood out in epic proportion!
